Barbara Douglas brings nearly 20 years of healthcare experience to SophistiPrax, with a strong background in helping physician practices improve operations, strengthen systems, and navigate an ever-changing healthcare landscape. Her earlier career in HR, finance, training, and marketing gives her a broad perspective that she uses to support practices with both practical and strategic needs.
At SophistiPrax, Barbara leads key operational and business-support programs, including insurance and risk management, credentialing, cybersecurity, group purchasing, HR resources, and education and training initiatives. She also partners closely with the CEO on legal, compliance, and contracting matters—ensuring practices have the structure and support they need to run smoothly.
