Patsy Chastain brings more than 20 years of experience in provider relations, network management, and value-based care to her role as Manager of Provider Relations. She leads provider engagement efforts across commercial and Medicaid payors, serving as a trusted partner to practices while strengthening relationships with health plans and internal stakeholders.
Throughout her career, Patsy has specialized in supporting physician practices through complex contract implementation, claims resolution, quality improvement initiatives, and performance optimization. She has extensive experience working with pediatric and primary care practices to improve HEDIS and quality metrics, support value-based contracts, and increase incentive performance through targeted education, data analysis, and best-practice guidance.
In her current role, Patsy manages and develops the Provider Relations team, oversees payor relationships and contract implementation, and serves as a subject matter expert for provider and practice issues. She works closely with quality and network leadership to identify opportunities for improvement, support practice onboarding, and ensure providers have the tools and resources needed to succeed in a value-based care environment.
Patsy holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and History from the State University of West Georgia and has a background in professional medical coding. She is known for her collaborative approach, strong communication skills, and ability to translate complex data and contract requirements into practical, actionable guidance for practices.
